LANCE
This past weekend, Lance went home to visit his family. His brother was driving Lance absolutely crazy. He cut his visit short because he just couldn't handle being around his brother. Lance cancelled his Friday temple time this past week, too. He had too many tests and projects due. Hailey has also felt kind of distant lately.
Lance keeps having thoughts like: 'What is going on? Things have been going so well these past few months. I have been been trying so hard to do the right things, and it just seems like life gets harder. I don't get it. I thought Jesus would have my back. Just when it feels like I'm doing good, it's like God abandons me.'
One day, Lance was texting with Hailey, but she was taking too long to respond, so he started mindlessly scrolling on this phone and a pornographic pop-up appeared. Lance clicked on it, but then as soon as some inappropriate photos showed up, Lance turned his phone off. He shook his head and thought, 'What the heck! I'm not that guy anymore.'
